Last week’s SRL show at the Extreme Futurist Festival was a success! Aside from the Sparkshooter awaiting resuscitation with new capacitors, the Motoman left behind, and one doggie doo pole knocked over by the Inchworm, no property, humans or animals were hurt (by SRL) in the process! All the machines ran flawlessly and the Spine Robot debuted as a mobile machine, there was enough fire, diesel fog, and smoked pig to go around.
Here is a special teaser reel shot and edited by Steve Bage to whet your appetites for more images and video to come.
There are also more images from the SRL Photographers, crew and others who have donated their media to our archives. Those can be found here. Check back often as we’re adding more daily.
Thanks LA!

SRL is looking for assistance on the Spine Robot. We are setting up a team to build and test the computer control for the Spine Robot. Familiarity with Labview programming and basic electronics wiring a plus. Heres your chance to program a very unusual, one of a kind robot!
